Description of Fishing:This is one of the finest bonefishing lodges in the world. Mix in tarpon on the west side as well as some permit and you have one of the finest flats fishing lodges anywhere. Clients come home time after time raving about not only the fishing, but also the "Secret Casting Techniques" they learned from the staff. If you're a flats fisher, Stafford Creek has to be on your short list of places to fish.
Your fishing days start early, allowing valuable fishing time on the flats. The day will be planned according to the tides, the weather, and the fish, not by the clock. The experienced guides will have you on the best flats casting to fish in no time. You leave each morning either from the dock here at the lodge, or by trailering the top of the line skiffs a short distance to the northern Joulters Cays in comfortable vehicles.
This flexibility of the lodge really allows you to enjoy good fishing no matter what the weather does. You also have access to all sorts of different fishing from; wade fishing the beautiful white sand flats of the Joulters, sight casting to tarpon on the west side, or hunt large bonefish and permit from the lodge's Marerick boats.

Species Targeted Stafford Creek Lodge targets the three main flats fish, Bonefish, Tarpon and the illusive Permit. However it is not uncommon to experience, Barracuda, and Snapper amongst your “catch and release” trophies of the day. Bonefish and Tarpon fishing is a year round endeavor, with the primary months for Permit being May though early November (subject to cold fronts).

Extensive work to the property and grounds as well as a trained chef will insure long-time clients will depart with even a larger smile than usual.
The private cottages overlook beautiful Stafford Creek and can accomodate 6 anglers. As for the food, like we mentioned, they've brought in a trained chef, promising even more incredible food and service to this already elite lodge.
