Description of Fishing:Turneffe Flats is one of the best destinations in the world if you're looking to catch a "Grand Slam" (bonefish, tarpon and permit in the same day!) Anglers will get tons of shots at bonefish (lots tailing!) each day. Whether your beginning or have years of experience, there is something for you at Turneffe. The pure numbers of bonefish make this a great spot for to experiment and try new flies or you can stalk more elusive large fish in deeper water.
One of our favorite things about Turneffe is the permit fishing. In our experience, there are very few places in the world where you can get more shots at this highly regarded fish, both large and small.
Finally, the largest fish in the slam and probably the most exciting sportfish in the world is the tarpon! These arial acrobats will test any angler's skill and determination and Turneffe gives you an excellent shot. The prime time for tarpon is the summer month May-August but tarpon are caught every month of the year.

Species Targeted Bonefish, permit and tarpon as well as many other flats species such as barracuda, snook and snapper.
Turneffe Flats also offers offshore excursions for reef and bluewater species.
Lodging / Accomodations: Turneffe Flats uses duplex style beachfront bungalows capable of accomodating 14 anglers. There is also a main lodge for meals as well as a full bar and large sitting area.
Packages / Rates: Rates vary due to seasons.
Packages run Saturday.-Saturday. Shorter Itineraries are available in some instances, please check with us for details. Rates are based on double occupancy and two anglers per boat and guide.
Included: - Saturday airport pickup and transfer by boat to the lodge.
